We are The 13th Hour Studios, an independent game production studio started in 2004, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and specializing in MMORPG development. We have been involved in the production of several gaming products and industry competitions, garnering a 2nd place win in the 2007 world wide Realmcrafter game design competition, and ongoing work on The Legend of Dekkane, our first MMORPG project. The core team consists of Neil Oosterveen, Sean Oosterveen and Graeme Borland. Neil is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of executive management experience. He is an accomplished business owner, having owned and managed a heavy equipment and highway equipment dealership, as well as an IT service company. Neil has used his expertise in management, accounting, corporate restructure, and IT systems, as an executive coach and consultant, providing corporations with the tools and direction to achieve new levels of success in customer service and profitability.  He holds Canadian and US patents on several products that he has brought from concept, to design, manufacturing, and into the marketplace.  Sean has been working as a game designer and developer for 7 years, with experience in Torque, Realmcrafter and other proprietary engines. Sean excels at creating an immersive game play and game world design. Graeme has a one of a kind talent in storytelling, art design and 3D modeling that he has been honing in the game industry for the last 7 years. We also have an alliance with some of the gaming world’s top talents, as well as several independent developers that work for us as needed, on a contract basis.

Our focus is and always has been to develop games as gamers ourselves, and create appealing products for both casual and hardcore gamers who can both appreciate having fun. We believe it is important to stay true to the original purpose of gaming, which is to entertain. Every project we undertake is given our special treatment to ensure originality, quality, and entertainment.
